Gift Card Terms and Conditions

Wang Korea Food Market Gift Cards are an excellent choice for any occasion, whether it's a birthday celebration or a special event. They also serve as a wonderful token of appreciation for your hardworking staff and colleagues. Our gift cards can be redeemed for a wide range of groceries and goods at any Wang Korea Food Market store. To utilize the gift card during your visit, simply hand it to one of our friendly team members at the checkout.

This T&C outlines the guidelines and procedures for the issuance, use, and management of gift cards at Asian Savour World pty. Ltd. t/a Wang trading (ASW), ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations in New Zealand.

Issuance of Gift Cards

  1. Gift cards are available for purchase both in-store and can be ordered through our headquarters.

  2. Customers have the flexibility to select the value of the gift card, ranging from $20 to $500.

  3. Each gift card issued will be assigned a unique identification number and an expiration date, if applicable.
     

Purchase Limit

  1. Customers are limited to a maximum total order value of $1,000 per day, excluding fees and packaging.

  2. Customers may purchase up to 20 gift cards in one order.

  3. Total Value Limit: The total value of gift cards purchased in a single order, or in a series of orders that appear linked, must not exceed NZ$5,000. We reserve the right to determine if a series of orders appears linked at our discretion.

Use of Gift Cards

  1. Gift cards can be redeemed for merchandise or services at any participating Wang Korea Food Market location in New Zealand.

  2. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to purchase additional gift cards.

  3. Partial redemption of gift cards is permitted, with the remaining balance retained for future use.

Expiration and Fees

  1. No fees, including dormancy or service fees, shall be charged on gift cards.

  2. A Gift Card expires 1 year from the day of purchase or, if relevant, its last top up.

  3. Any unused balance remaining on the gift card at expiry will not be refunded or credited.

Lost or Stolen Cards

  1. ASW is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards.

  2. Cardholders should treat gift cards like cash and report any loss or theft immediately to allie.kim@wangtrading.co.nz

Returns and Refunds

  1. Gift Cards cannot be returned because the gift card value is activated at the time of purchase.

  2. Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or be used towards the purchase of another gift card.

Compliance

This policy complies with all relevant laws and regulations governing gift cards in New Zealand.

Review and Amendments

This policy shall be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in laws, regulations, or business practices.
